Our couples head off on a weekend retreat as time begins to run out on the season.

Well let’s jump straight into tonight’s episode. First up we’ve got Miles and Karen. At this point it’s starting to feel like this couple just hasn’t given the relationship a chance this season. Well more specifically, Karen hasn’t given the relationship a chance this season. They are roughly 3 months into their relationship and still have no level of romance or intimacy. They seem like good friends but definitely not husband and wife.

After getting hit with a bombshell accusation about Henry’s sexuality at the end of last episode, I was expecting a lot more drama from this couple this week. I think it’s safe to say things are not working out with those two.

Amani and Woody had a weird week. We get glimpses of them being great together and then glimpses of Woody spouting off on some random crap that really seems to not put Amani in a good mood. I think Woody nees to work on being a little bit clear about thins at times because he has a tendency to really dig himself holes while not ever getting to his real point.

Lastly, Amelia and Bennett are as cute as ever and I love them dearly.

Veto night, Memphis and Christmas will be fighting with their games on the line.

Well I definitely didn’t think we’d have a week where Nicole won both the HOH and POV but it’s season 22 and this is the most season 22 thing that could happen. I was shocked to see her win even one competition and now we are on the brink of Nicole closing out the season as a comp beast.

I think Nicole really missed an opportunity to take a big shot by not using the veto and going for a backdoor. I totally understand her reluctance to take a shot but I think the only way she has a chance to win is sitting beside Christmas. Letting her stay on the block and potentially go home could end any chance Nicole has at winning.

I honestly don’t know who is going to go home tomorrow so for the first time this season I’m actually looking forward to seeing the eviction results. Could the season finally go off script for the first time?

We are setting up for a wild season of The Bachelorette. Clare is possibly about to embark on the shortest season in Bachelorette history.

This whole episode just had a weird vibe. The quarantine to kick things off was obviously weird. And then it really felt like we narrowed in on a few storylines right out of the gate. When it came to the rose ceremony I only knew who a few people were and I think we were being set up for a fast forward through Clare’s season. I don’t know how everything is going to play out but I’m ready for the journey.

That teaser at the end of the episode was wild. Normally we have one moment in a season that generates that level of hype and usually it’s quite deep into the season. Clare is kicking off this season hard and I’m ready for things to spiral out of control ASAP.

There were a few guys of note tonight Dale, Jason, Blake Moynes, Yosef and Eazy. That’s a pretty short list after night one. Dale easily got the most screen time, got the first impression rose and Clare immediately said she thought she just met her husband after meeting him. I think it’s safe to say he will be a focal point this season. Jason is another guy of note, we’ve seen previews of him and Clare together and it seemed like they had a solid connection tonight. Blake Moynes apparently was the only guy to reach out and contact Clare (not buying that for a minute), he also got the first kiss of the season and on a normal seaosn i think he’d be an early favorite. Yosef was the center of the drama tonight and somehow got a rose even though he blatantly lied to Clare. Lastly we have Eazy, who didn’t get much time with Clare but seems like he could be the villain of the season.

An interesting night one and looks like we are set up for a wild season. Can’t be worse than Peter!

This episode felt almost entirely like filler which is very bizarre considering how close we are to the end of the season.

First off we had a very long HOH competition. That was about half the episode just to crown the next HOH. There was a bit of drama towards the end, which was interesting but, ultimately it would have been just as enjoyable to see a 30 second quiz, crown the HOH and move back into the game.

After Nicole was crowned as the HOH, we then had a very long drawn out scene of getting to see her HOH room. This was very strange for me since we haven’t seen this happen very much this season, I honestly can’t remember even one other time this season when we heard the HOH read their letter from home. Very bizarre to me that Nicole wins and suddenly we get a giant spotlight of her HOH. Obviously production loves her and if they could crown a winner I’m sure they would select her.

From here we saw a few quick game conversation and then boom we had Memphis and Christmas nominated and the episode was over. I’m starting to think that production is more to blame for this bad season than the contestants.

Oh well guess we now just have to wait until Wednesday where we will get to watch another 30 minute long competition.,..

It’s eviction night on Big Brother. Tyler and Christmas sit on the block and one of them is about to go to the jury house.

First off, the visit to the jury house felt very forced and unnecessary. It’s a bunch of clips of the houseguests being bad at acting and them rehashing a bunch of information that we already knew. I would much rather see more gameplay in the house than whatever that garbage was.

OK back to the actual game. I think we all knew Tyler was going home but I really don’t think that was the best play for Cody and Enzo. Christmas is in tight with Memphis and instead of keeping someone who could aid your game, you kept someone who is going to aid someone else. On top of that I think Christmas has a good shot at winning the HOH and Cody could be headed straight to the block.

Another HOH cliffhanger so we won’t find out who wins until next Monday, that feels so far away!

Well that’s one way to blow past 6 weeks in this show. The couples were left alone for 6 weeks in quarantine and I’m not sure if anything really changed between any of them.

First off I just want to point out how awful the experts were tonight. Why was their no remote meetings between the couples and the experts for six whole weeks? And then you have the meetings and the experts almost exclusively gave bad advice. Yikes. Time for some new experts please.

Two bombshells dropped tonight. First off Olivia and Brett are done. I think most of us have been waiting for this to happen all season long. Brett is a man child and just not ready for a relationship of any substance. He couldn’t accept responsibility for any of his actions all season long and then snuck away while Olivia was out. I’m so over Brett.

Second we end the episode with Christina essentially accusing Henry of being gay after someone contacted her saying that he had been meeting up with Henry and having sex with him. A very bizarre turn whether this is true or pure fabrication. This relationship was already on the rocks and now I can’t see any way they manage to stay together on decision day.

Time for the veto, last chance for Tyler and Christmas to save themselves.

Honestly not much happening this episode. We had the veto, Cody wins and doesn’t use it. And then the rest of the episode was spent watching Tyler and Christmas desperately try to save their games. Tyler really dug himself a hole trying to turn Enzo and Christmas didn’t do much better.

I’m predicting we see Tyler go home tomorrow night. It just doesn’t make sense for Enzo or Memphis to save him at this point and only two votes are needed to evict. His only avenue to staying in the game is to have Cody convince everyone that he wants Christmas out and since this is the season of making absolutely zero waves, maybe that’s enough to save Tyler.

Tonight we see the aftermath of the triple eviction and the new battle lines that are forming within the house. Don’t expect the unexpected.

It was interesting seeing the behind the scenes from the triple eviction and watch as Tyler and Christmas flushed any chance they had of winning right down the toilet. They got played by Enzo. Seeing everything, Enzo definitely did the best move for his game and pretty much guaranteed himself making the final four. As someone cheering for Tyler, it was painful to relive everything all over again.

Alright, HOH time. Aside from Christmas, anyone winning the HOH pretty much has no choice but to put up Christmas and Tyler. Sure enough Cody wins and plops the pair on the block. Expect the expected. Cody is in a very nice position right now and has a final two deal with three of the player that are going to be part of the top five.

I was disappointed to see Tyler and Christmas immediately throw each other under the bus once their backs were against the wall. Really it would have been very easy for them to say that Enzo said he was going to vote out Nicole, so they did too. At least get your lies straight instead of making it blatantly obvious that you got caught. Oh well I guess we get another two boring weeks as we wait for Tyler and Christmas to get evicted.

This has been a very frustrating season and at this point we just need to fast forward to the end.

I knew it was a possibility but how did it take three evictions in one night before something interesting happened? What should have been an amazing night pulled a BB22 on us and went the most predictable route possible.

First up we all knew Kevin was headed out the door and lets be honest he has been hanging on for dear life since the start of the season. I think he was on the block 5 times this season and I honestly don’t know how he survived this long. I think he’ll be much happier in the jury house than getting pushing around by the committee.

Once we got into the second eviction I was really hopeful that we’d see some gameplay start to happen. Oh boy was I ever wrong. Memphis wins HOH, nominates Kevin and Nicole. Christmas wins veto, leaves noms the same and I’m thinking we are about to say goodbye to Nicole, wrong. Tyler and Christmas vote to evict Nicole but Enzo, Cody and Dani swing the vote back against David. The seven people that have been controlling the entire game all survive to the final seven.

I got a bit of a bone to pick with Enzo, he’s been talking this big game all season long but any time he’s been poised to make a move he always backs down. His HOH reign was pathetic and backing down from taking out Nicole was also pathetic. While I do think Enzo is positioned very well to make it to the end of the game, he confirmed tonight that he is nothing more than just another sheep this season.

Alright top 7 and finally we have no choice but to see a big name head out the door. I’ve been rooting for Tyler this season so when I saw him win the HOH I was pretty damn happy. He nominates Nicole and Dani, then we get to watch Dani immediately throw eher entire game into the dumpster before she heads her ass to the jury house. Good riddance. She played a very poor social game this season and only survived this long because she was part of the right alliance at the start of the game. On top of that she makes herself look like a total hypocrite by trying to out Tyler and Christmas as a final two alliance after lambasting Kaysar for doing the same thing earlier in the year. If she thinks Kaysar is classless, I guess that means she is classless as well.

Final six and we might finally get to see a bit of Big Brother this season.

Overall a pretty good week for our couples. I’d say we only had one couple take steps backwards this week but with covid and a quarantine looming on the horizon that could change in the coming weeks.

First up lets talk about Olivia and Brett. This couple is headed towards a divorce right now and I honestly don’t see that changing any time soon. I got the feeling that Brett has checked out of this relationship now. His attitude and body language did not look like a man committed to his wife and marriage. I hated how he tried to flip every problem back onto Olivia today, when we can all clearly see that he is the problem here. Can we sub in a new man for Olivia please?

A pretty good week for Woody and Amani. Their one monther anniversary seemed like a good moment for them. Woody is very much set on having and doing nice things which is both a good and bad thing. It’s nice that he wants the best for Amani but the lifestyle doesn’t quite seem realistic. Seemed like he wanted to use a good chunk of their budget of frivolous things and I hope that Amani can rein Woody in a bit on that subject.

Amelia and Bennett are in love! I was so happy when we found out Bennett had said I love you and Amelia responded soon after. I just love this couple and they really seem perfect together. Their biggest hurdle is going to be Bennett deciding if he wants to move with Amelia and I’m really hoping he does.

Since Karen and Miles have slowed things down, I think their relationship has really improved. Taking sex off the table was a great idea for them and its nice to see this couple making progress again. It feels like they are growing much closer right now and I’m slowly gaining optimism for them.

Lastly we’ve got Henry and Christina. Felt like we saw very little of them this week and their biggest moments came while talking with other people. Each of them has a big issue in the relationship that might prove insurmountable for the couple. Henry is not happy with the way Christina can be overtly rude at times. And Christina is looking for a more assertive man. I really don’t think they have enough time left to get their relationship to a point where they’d both say yes on decision day.

The next few weeks are going to be very interesting as we get deeper into the pandemic. Sounds like the couples will be headed into quarantine and their relationships will be put to the test.
